So, what are YOU doing this weekend?! Dewey over at The Hidden Side of a Leaf is hosting a 24-hour read-a-thon starting this Saturday, October 18th at noon GMT time (that's 6:00AM Mountain Time...or 7:00AM Central...you get the idea; yes, I had to look that up).
There are all kinds of ways to participate. If you're a reader you don't actually have to stay up the whole 24 hours reading (but you can if you want!). You can also take breaks from reading to log what you've read so far, participate in mini-challenges, and get encouragement from the read-a-thon cheerleaders.
Having committment issues? ;o) You can sign up to be a cheerleader and encourage the other readers or host a mini-challenge on your blog.
Still can't commit? Me either. So I'm just getting the word out that there's a read-a-thon coming up for anyone who wants to participate. But I'll also do my best to check out how everyone is doing and offer my support.
Can't make it for the read-a-thon this time? That's ok. They host it twice a year, October and April, so maybe you can catch the next one!
