Time for Teaser Tuesday over at Should Be Reading!
Here's how it works:
~ Grab your current read.
~ Let the book fall open to a random page.
~ Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
~ You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
~Please avoid spoilers!
Here's mine:
"'I'll be so glad to get rid of this behemoth,' Kirsten said, grunting as she lifted one end of it. 'It's like dragging around a dead troll with handles on his sides.'"
~Until We Reach Home by Lynn Austin p. 195

Interesting teaser...
ReplyDeleteLOl - made me chuckle . . . trolls . . . handles. :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my teaser!
~ Wendi
Ha ha - love it! I assume they are dragging around a trunk and not a body :0) Come visit my Teaser if you have time
ReplyDeleteHee-hee, that's a good one!
ReplyDeleteMy teasers are here.
Now that is a book I would like to read! Great quote! You totally have piqued my interest with that one!
ReplyDeleteAnd Sunny, you can totally call me by my name Kelly. Kalea is the name my cousins in Hawaii gave me ages ago. I always have used it for my emails and what not. :)
I love the mental image I get from just those two sentences! Dead trolls with handles...but what are they really lifting??
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelly!
ReplyDeleteAnd LOL, Erin! I think they are lifting a trunk, but I'm not sure...I haven't gotten that far into the book yet.
