Musing Monday ~ Hold That Page

Today for Musing Monday:

What do you use to mark your place while reading? Do you have a definite preference? Do you use bookmarks, paper, or (gasp) turn down the pages? If you use bookmarks, do you have a favourite one?

I use bookmarks. In my younger years I would fold down the top corner of the page, but not any more. I don't buy bookmarks, though. Sometimes when I get a review copy they include a bookmark in the package (gotta love that!). It's funny but I choose which one to use by my mood or the book I'm reading. Right now I'm using a bookmark that has Havah and Demon by Tosca Lee on it because I love how it looks. I've also been known to throw away bookmarks that I don't like, but that doesn't happen very often.

  1. Too funny. I don't think I'd ever be organized enough to match my bookmarks with my mood or my books.

  2. My problem is I can't bring myself to throw away a bookmark. That's the main reason I've ended up with such a huge stash. But at least I never have to look very far to find one.

  3. Its nice to get those promotional bookmarks! It helps because I leave them all over the house so I can easily grab them to mark my place.

  4. I have a couple of those "fancy" flip over the top of the page magnetic bookmarks. Actually, I don't know where one of them is and had been wondering about that the other day.

The thing is, I have to play with the bookmark and the magnet in one hand while I hold the book with the other.
