TEASER TUESDAYS asks you to:
~Grab your current read.
~ Let the book fall open to a random page.
~ Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
~ You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
~ Please avoid spoilers!
Here are my teaser sentences:
"Several pairs of eyes followed the bird; a student noticed the undergarments for the first time and giggled."
~The Spanish Bow by Andromeda Romano-Lax, page 128

Is the bird wearing the undergarments? LOL
ReplyDeleteDefinitely intrigued. :) But is the author really named Andromeda?
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday!!!!!
LOL, Nise! I sure hope not!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Kelly! Check it out here. (btw, this is general market, not Christian fiction)
It does sound like the bird is wearing the panties! How funny...made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Why would a bird be wearing undergarments? Great teaser!
ReplyDelete:) Fun teaser! How do you like the book so far? (I am assuming they are talking about a real bird, and not a "lady-bird" or woman?)
ReplyDeleteWendi
I like it so far but I'm just a couple chapters into it. The first chapter was very intriguing!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a real bird. ;o)
Hmm - so while everyone else was looking up at the bird someone else got a nice view of someone's undies? Or were they hanging off of whatever the bird was perched upon? Good Teaser!
ReplyDeleteWhen I just went to look the book up on Goodreads I noticed the author is there and had an open invitation to anyone to ask her questions or comment on the books, the historical research, etc. Seems she is doing a virtual tour.
ReplyDeleteWell, The Bumbles has gotten the closest to what is really happening in the teaser! But I wont tell you which of the two is it. ;o)
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the heads up on Goodreads...I'll check that out!
Just read a great end-times novel, "Trouble in the House of Jacob." Fascinating, sensitive, powerful. Great witness tool. The web page is http://tinyurl.com/4d79yt.
