My BBAW Giveaway

This giveaway is now closed.

This week, for Book Blogger Appreciation Week, I'm giving away a copy of James Scott Bell's new release, Try Darkness.

But you know what? It's book #2 in the Buchanan Series and why would anyone want to start with book #2?

Ok, you twisted my arm! You'll get Try Dying, the first book the series as well!

If you insist. You push too hard, dah-ling!

Yep...TWO books in this giveaway. These are near-new (because I read them) hardback books in great condition.

I appreciate book bloggers and book blog readers, and without our readers there would be no reason to blog about it. So this is me saying thanks to all of you!

To win this giveaway, leave a comment with your email address. AND in the comment name a book you've read recently that you really enjoyed. Notice "recently" is vague on purpose! ;o)

I will pick a winner on Thursday and email the winner. If I hear back from you, I'll get the books in the mail Friday morning. (If not, you'll have to wait til Monday because I'll be out of town.)

Oh and P.S. Sorry, but I can only ship to USA addresses.

  5. Fun!! I've only read one book by James Scott Bell, but I've been wanting to read more. Thank you for giving me a chance to win these. :-)

I really enjoyed the Mars Hill Classified series by Austin Boyd earlier this year. Christian fiction meets sci-fi and political thriller all in one. Very different but very well done.

  6. They sound like something I would enjoy. A book that I've read recently that I really enjoyed was The Thin Man by Dashiell Hammett. By no means a new book but it was new to me.

  9. I just read 15 classics in 15 weeks as part of Jacqui Robbins Summer Challenge, and I must say I really enjoyed of those classics! I think 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Journey to the Center of the Earth were my favorites. Treasure Island was also fun.

  10. Great giveaway for BBAW! A book I just finished is called Power in the Blood by Michael Listen. I thought it was unique and very well written. I should finish up Freezing Point by Karen Dionne today. It's more of a science/medical thriller and it is good, but if you're squeamish about rats, I wouldn't recommend it! :)

A great book I have read recently is Sweetsmoke by David Fuller. A murder mystery, historical fiction and emotional drama all in one. I loved it.

  18. James Scott Bell is one author whose books I usually like. There was one so-so one, but his others I've read are super! So, thanks for the giveaway. Now, a title I've recently read and like: Dark Star by Creston Mapes. Sooo good. It's about a rock star who is on trial for killing his psychic! It's Christian Fiction, my favorite genre!

  19. I would love to win these two books! Thank you for including the first book, too. I hate reading books out of order!

I just finished reading 14 by J.T. Ellison. All th Pretty Girls, which is the first book in the series, is also very good.
