Booking Through Thursday ~ Numbers Game

Some people read one book at a time. Some people have a number of them on the go at any given time, perhaps a reading in bed book, a breakfast table book, a bathroom book, and so on, which leads me to…

1. Are you currently reading more than one book?

I'm generally a one-book kind of girl. I can do one fiction and one non-fiction at the same time but I don't like having two fiction books going at the same time. It would be like watching two TV shows at the same time (like my dh does...drives me crazy!). When I'm into a book and already don't want to put it down, why would I pick up another? :o)

2. If so, how many books are you currently reading?

I'm reading one fiction book (BoneMan's Daughters) and one non-fiction book...both are for review.

3. Is this normal for you?
Yep.

4. Where do you keep your current reads?

Mostly I read in the living room or the bedroom, so my current read is usually either on an end table or night stand. Sometimes I'll bring it with me when I leave the house, but with a 2-year old in tow I rarely get a chance to read it away from home.

  1. I really need to read more non-fiction. Any suggestions?

  2. I agree with you - one fiction, one non-fiction - although sometimes I'll stretch to 2 fiction books if one is too heavy to read in the bath!

  6. I'm usually a one book woman myself. Unless I'm at the end of one and I'm afarid I'll finish on the way to work and have nothing to read on the way home. The horror!
I keep my book with me at all times :)

  7. I missed responding to this yesterday. One book gal eh? I then cheat on my books! See I couldn't read the Boneman's Daughter without flipping to something light afterward. I at least have two books going at the same time.
